Phosphorene and 2D companions

Since its first discovery in 2014, few layers black Phosphorus, as well as its monolayer, called phosphorene, attracted great interest in the scientific community because of its direct band gap, easily tuned with the number of layers, its high reactivity and its puckered structure, which lead to anisotropic transport properties.

Two years after the ”Fosforene day” in Florence (July 17th 2015), we are glad to invite you to ‘Phosphorene and 2D companions’ workshop in Rome. The workshop will be held on May 8th at the Sala Marconi of the Cnr Headquarter, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, Rome.

This workshop has the double aim of sharing recent results on phosphorene and novel functional 2D materials, as well as increasing networking and demonstrate their vision of the road-map of these materials. There will be two plenary lectures, as well as several short contributions. We strongly invite you to submit an abstract on your recent work on 2D materials.
